Programs

The North Shore Striders strives to provide programs that benefit members of all ages and levels of running ability. Below are the programs that we currently offer. We are constantly working to develop new programs, so please check back frequently for new information.

North Shore Striders Group Runs
The North Shore Striders currently offers weekly group runs for all ages and levels of ability. April through October the runs are held on Monday evenings at 5:30 p.m. October through March the runs are held Saturday mornings at 9 a.m. These runs are very casual and you are encouraged to go at your own pace and as far as you feel comfortable going. During the winter months, we are departing from the Rose Garden and running along the Lakewalk. In the spring, summer and fall, the location of the runs will vary, and will be posted on our Facebook page, website and sent in our weekly emails.

North Shore Striders Elite Runner Support Program
One of the goals of the NSS is to assist elite upper Midwest distance runners who have completed their academic running careers and are striving to reach their full running potential. The program provides elite runner support through a tiered system to selected men and women engaged in both open and age-group division long distance running competitions, and who are willing to join the NSS running club.
